WAHANGA TUATORU - Term 3!!

Ka mau te wehi!! Term 3 already and we are in to week 5.

Ngā Taumāhekeheke o te Ao

Our over arching kaupapa for wahanga 3 is Olympics.
We listed all the information we knew about ngā taumāhekeheke o te Ao and then thought of some questions we would like answered. We are working our way through our pātai.

One of our questions was about the olympic rings and what they mean, so, we've been learning about what the olympic rings and colours symbolise. We now know that the blue ring represent the European continent, whero - American continent (north and south), pango - African continent, kōwhai - Asian continent and kākāriki - Australasian continent.

We also learnt that all of these colours with the the white background relates to every flag colour.
We learnt some flags from the 5 different continents, Check some of our awesome mahi out!

Namibia is in the African continent.

Tonga is in the Australasian continent.
USA is in the American continent

Our mahi looks great!!
